SRX2534404: RNA-seq of hexploid Wheat CS42: control roots replicate3
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 68.4M spots, 13.7G bases, 8.3Gb downloads

Design: For each RNA samples, polyT magnetic beads were used to pull out mRNA and then two independent libraries were made from mRNA and sequenced independently as two technical replicates. Pair-end 100 bp sequencing was performed for the qualified library on a Illumina HiSeq 2000 machine.

Study: Transcriptomic analysis of RNA-seq in drought-stressed hexaploid wheat var. Chinese Spring
show Abstracthide Abstract
The data were RNA-seq from hexaploid wheat Tritium estivate, var Chinese Spring. Three tissues, roots, crown and leaves from 19 days old young seedlings (3-4 leaves stages) are used for RNA-seq after specific drought treatment (7 days drought , 36 hours after water potential below withering point) and before treatment. There are 10 plants in each treatment . Three experimental replicates were conducted. Two technical replicate for Illumina sequencing were done from two library of same RNAs. RNA-Seq reads are 100 bp Pair-end. Contact Xuewen Wang xwwang@uga.edu or Katrien Devos kdevos@uga.edu. The experiment was done in University of Georgia.
